A very good old blend with the old Clynelish well present but tamed by the grain to make for a well rounded dram. It’s not very sweet but rather waxy and mineral. There is very little peat. The palate is oily and even more waxy than the nose.
This is better than most modern single malts and well worth seeking out just for how unique it is.
