    • Nose
super fruity with red sweet berries (strawberries, rose hips, currants). Honey, slightly sour after raspberries and yoghurt. In the background still damp wood and wine gum
    • Taste
first red wine and again first a lot of sweet and slightly sour red fruits. Slightly bitter damp wood.
With a few drops of water it becomes even sweeter, a bit bitter and creamy
    • Finish
a long sweet-fruity finish with red wine, herbs, pepper and moist, spicy wood

Quite okay, but that's too imposing for me. You can always finely separate the barrel influence from the spirit in the nose and on the palate.

Tart red berries, somewhat metallic youth, grassy and grainy undertones, but raspberries and overripe strawberries, wet and slightly moldy wood remain dominant
    • Taste
      85 85
Again a lot of red fruits, very present alcohol, very spicy and directly dry, again a bit metallic and grainy
    • Finish
      85 85
Dry and extremely fruity finish, a lot of heat in the mouth, the fruits remain extremely present

Smell: Sweet red berries, strong alcohol, forest honey, light earthy notes, orange jam and light hints of wood.
Taste: Very strong and intense start, white pepper and still sweet, then ripe red berries and cherries prevail. Fine herbal aromas.
Finish: dry and long, still strong, fermented cherries and spicy oak aromas.
Conclusion: The wine finish has done a great job here and brings in a great, strong but harmonious red wine aroma for my taste. The 62.2% are already very present, but the whisky can be easily diluted with water.
If you are into red wine aromas in whisky, this is the right place for you.
