Taste: sweet and mineral, slightly caustic spices, burnt caramel, roasted walnuts, minerals, ash, dried fruits - apples, pears, dates; slightly smoked, pleasant tannins barrels.
Finish: dry, mineral and salty, echoes of spices, not sweet compote of dried fruit, a lot of ash, activated carbon, light citrus hints. Longer than average, oily.
The bottom line: undoubtedly the luck of the bottler, Ledzhik and a barrel very well fit each other. The smoke as such at all stages is minimal, there is a feeling of smoked and ash, and I somehow did not catch the branded rubber. Enchantingly cool, developing flavor and a little bit inferior to him. Regarding the finish, here, as in the two Ledzhiki I recently tested, it is longer than average and very saturated, it looks like they have a very strong common feature.
