Nose: Initially quite alcoholic and farmy-smoky with some peat (after five minutes breathing this constellation is almost completely gone). Now, aromas of wild honey and beeswax, delicious lemon with vanilla cream and apricot jam. Somewhat heavier, earthy notes, but also fresh bergamot - flowery-green. Class!
Taste: Creamy, waxy and round! Very salty, peppery-spicy palette with leather, humus, dry earth and ash. Elegant bourbon vanilla and malty, honeyed notes complete the taste.
Finish: Long - Lose some of the creaminess, is now rather thinner in the consistency. The aromas of powerful vanilla, lemon, pepper, dry ash and leather stick to the palate for a long time. Drying with notes of cream brittle slowly fading away.
Comment: Very interesting and varied. At a price of less than 60 euros today you do not have to think twice, right? But give this whisky a lot of time in the glass - it changes very much for the better!
