Gourmand. It could clearly be a rum or a grain (mix of sherry casks and new oak barrels ??). In any case, nice balance and fees. Can be a little sickening in the long run.

    (tested blind)
    • Nose
Varnish, glue, banana. It could be a rum, a grain, or even a bourbon. The oak is present but more on the new wood side, sawdust. It is also toasted, vanilla and cereals are gaining presence as well as leather. It's finally quite complex and the alcohol does not come out at all.
    • Taste
Here too, it's rich, very rich. Creamy sensation, it is clearly marked by hazelnut, coffee and cocoa. But especially hazelnut. The dried fruits are also there but a little hidden: prunes, dates. In any case, it is very sweet, almost sweet but fresh at the same time.
    • Finish
Spices are now a little more present (pepper), new wood, toasted. Fade a little fast.

    Lovely old grain whisky
    • Nose
Rum and raisin ice-cream doused in single cask rum. Masses of barley sugar and vanilla.
    • Taste
Fabric softener, rum tablet, icing sugar and spice.
    • Finish
Long and spicy with more icing sugar
