This 12-year-old Croftengea from the Loch Lomond distillery was distilled in 2007 and then matured in a former bourbon cask. It was bottled in the series The Gould Family in 2019 by the independent bottler Jack Wieber from Berlin.
On the nose, peat, chocolate, caramel, smoke and some orange jam.
On the palate more peat, vanilla and malt, as well as fine fruit notes, with a hint of orange blossom in the background.
The finish is long and sweetish-round.
