    emphasized fruity on the nose with a nice interplay of fruit acidity and fruit sweetness.
    Also sweet and sour in taste.
    Would have expected more sweetness and less acidity from the PX; Before that, it was probably lying in a port cask for longer than in the PX - only the last barrel has to be specified. For me it feels like a typical summer whisky: fruity-sweet with a dash of acidity.
    Mmh, not bad if you like the combination "sweet and sour"; but is certainly not to everyone's taste; Tip: get a sample first. Around 70 euros is an announcement ... Linkwood or not.
    [85 - 81 = delicious -> get a second bottle if price is within the range]
    • Nose
      In addition to light fruits of sweet apricot and apple, there is also a sour note of fresh strawberry.
      With enough time to breathe, something floral and herbaceous in the background.
      Some honey and caramel.
    • Taste
      sweet and sour in taste. The wort is there, but it also disappears again quite quickly. For me it is more like a rosé ... (in terms of acidity). At this point, I'm guessing more of a port influence. The PX finish doesn't really come through at this point.
      Second sip: fruity, again sweetness and at the same time sour moment.
    • Finish
      Forest honey appears on the palate, some spice remains, the fruity component visibly fades away.
      Will be drier at the back, but without completely drying everything on the palate - there may come. most likely the PX through.
