Light smokiness, ripe red fruits and a lot of spice, this expression is heavy and complex.
It was matured in a 2nd fill Red wine cask from Pauillac,
giving it strong, but not overpowering wine flavor, perfectly supporting the robust character of Bruichladdich.
The hint of peat adds to the complexity, but stays in the background.
Limited to 270 bottles, I was lucky enough to get #100/270
