Whisky Reviews for Springbank 18-year-old

- Batches batches batches... for me is this 20/179 way better than 20/86 from August... Had to buy a bottle immediately after sample tasting :)
- No wonder Springbank is hyped for its outstanding quality.
Just hoping they keep it up and stay grounded.
Everything you want from a Springer:
Funky, briny Minerality.
mouthcoating superb liquid: Kippers, green olives, perfectly intergrated alcohol, creamy mouthfeel.
Long, luscious and salty.
- Classic notes of Springbank aroma and taste. Consistency is the key to mastery.
The nose - at first, the sour aroma of a burnt wood, then the classic - the eraser (rubber), dark raisins, breathing the windy freshness of bourbon. Sherry notes are replaced by bourbon and sweet blooms of dead herbs standing in the air. Propolis creeps out on the back notes.
Taste - dry sherry, leather, raisins, toasted oak. Everything is mixed.
Finish - light and sweet tannins combined with coal and something that I don't know ...
The more you drink, the more you want.
Everything is smooth and splendid!
