a single cask from the Moutard distillery, released as a cask to blend gently with the scents associated with the maturing cask of Ratafia Champenois:
nose:
roasted malt, leather strap and soaked dried fruits
a little on the pressed marc, above the tank
a little vanilla caramel
a little cooked almonds
mouth:
pastry chef,
dry leather, cooked and sweet fruit, syrup juice that has caramelized on the edge of the fire, a little toasted, a little buttered, on the crème brûlée again, soft, smooth, slightly syrupy, on fine fir honey sweet again,
herbaceous return, slightly minty on the Vicks, then scents on the rianço with mold and well-cooked fruit and well present.
fruits on peach and cooked orange, orange zest a little bitter
final:
Paradoxically given the young age, the scents hold in the bottom of the glass, on spices, macerated fruits, sweet, on peach and cooked orange, a little woody and malty again, good dram!
