Quite tasty malt on the palate. However, the nose is not particularly inviting to me. That seems somehow out of round and a bit alcoholic musty, bland.
A little water makes the nose much more pleasant and even fruity.
I like it better that way.
Soft, sweet and also slightly bubbly nose with woody and intense fruit aromas of apricots. This slightly alcoholic smell ends quickly and then more and more fruits are added. Some plums, raisins and forest fruit jam with sweet malt. The woody notes seem to be a bit more complex and also more dominant. But I haven't got it right yet. Toffee and caramelized malt come through in the background.
A little water is good here. It also adds a subtle, cooling effect.
Slightly spicy, slightly peppery-hot, again sweet malt, and fruity aromas of raspberries, oranges with now recognizable port wine notes. A slight bitterness comes through, but the sweetness still predominates.
Medium-long finish, mix of sweet and sour fruits, oak spices and some candied fruits.
