The "Glück auf Whiskey" was distilled in the Sauerland by one of Germany's oldest distilleries with great care and exquisite rye grains and Sauerland spring water.
We deliberately chose rye whiskey because it has a strong, spicy aroma, which, with the fine notes from the fine wine barrels, creates a special taste experience. After the storage time, the master distiller reduces it to drinking strength with Sauerland spring water. Our "Glück auf Whiskey" is not cold-filtered and thus retains its unique spicy taste.
Our first barrel "Glück auf Whiskey" is a rye whiskey that has been stored for 2 years in a bourbon barrel for days. Then the whiskey begins its journey under the mountain.
