5. Mystery Dram- Blended malt Old Perth CS 58.6%, first tasting outside of distillery, sherry influence. Launching on 4th January, all distilleries from Glenlivet region. Core products 8-10yo
Nose- agave, haybales, toffees, farmyard, mezcal spirited note at the back, Werther's originals, a wine glass returned to the following morning.
Palate- fruit rollups with salmiakki.
Finish- seasalt with soaked raisins. Can't get away from the element of youth albeit enjoyable
With water
Nose- cinnamon sugar, amontillado sherry, kiln smoke, noble rot
Palate- burnt sugar, tinned travel sweets from a service station, Arbroath smokies
Finish- pearl sugar, vanilla
