Short tasting with some drops of water I felt esp. the nose needed it:
A yummy ledaig - a walk on a muddy road by the sea. The cask was not over active but very good..: n: Rather Cold smoke ( no bbq for me here), lemonb/yellow fruits , slight glu, ham , burnt wood , a touch of vanilla..seabreaze..some 'landluft' not too much
in the mouth very briny and costal - slight vanilla..the smoke and the fruits again some umami notes... Pimento...
lovely long lemncesty salty and ashy finish. Slightly burnt rubber..
In a BT I would be most likely on Islay not southern shore - on the second sip the ledaig showed himself a bit more...still not too much 'ledaig' in this one..
