Well What can I say?
Interesting? Yes. Out of the ordinary? Yes. Something else? Yes.
But that's about it ...
Even if Stauning is inherently not cheap (or can be, since it seems to be a bit more expensive in Denmark in general), the price is absolutely crazy. As much as I appreciate Michel's bottlings, do you really need that?
If you like greenery with a little (pleasant) wood and light farm notes: Top Dram !!
But the sample was definitely enough for me. It was an interesting experience, but I certainly don't need more of it.

Freshly mown grass, cucumber peel (what the hell, that's actually the cucumber water mentioned here), freshly clipped lawn.
Herbs. But no heather, no musty, fresh or sweet herbs. But weeds. Yes, weeds. Like when you are pulling weeds in the garden bed. Seriously. Wtf.
In addition, something like dry grain, something goes towards the farm.

Pleasant sweetness, maybe a little dry chocolate, again those strange green herbal notes (weed !!). In addition, a relatively pleasant but present tart wood note. In the background there are still a few musty, dry citrus zests, more light-colored wood and more freshly mown greens.

Pleasant dryness (actually quite elegant) and pleasantly tart wood notes. The alcohol is nicely integrated, giving a pleasant overall picture. After the bitter notes, there is a slight sweetness and somewhat very dry chocolate with dry spices.
