Easily drinkable spicy sherryaged whisky that needs some water.

When opening the bottle and for the first time, an almost penetrating Aceto-Balsamico flavor dominated, so that at times I thought I was smelling a bottle of vinegar. However, the longer the bottle was opened, this dominant note of spice blended into a caramel-emphasized sherry-fruity overall impression that became more and more pleasant. Candied plums, quickly pushed aside by the dominating spiciness, pepper, nutmeg, a musty (not unpleasant) note of wood, rosehip, vanilla ice cream, caramel, floral notes.

A sweet blackberry fruitiness, caramel, quickly turning into peppery spiciness, becoming drier.
    • Finish
      85 85
Increasingly dry, balsamic notes again, medium length

It was certainly not a bad buy, but I wouldn't buy a second bottle either. The high number of points, as it is quite balanced overall and very pleasant to drink. For more points he would need more intense atromas and stronger accentuation for me.
Malty, dark fruity, slightly alcoholic smell.
For me, malt, caramel, maple syrup and plum dominate the taste. Pleasant spiciness, dark chocolate.
The finish is quite pleasant and long. It is very interesting that after a few seconds black cherries clearly emerge. Significant bitterness at the first drink, only pleasant woody spice at the second tasting.

Intense dark red fruits, noticeable sweetness, plums, sugar-sweet raisins, some chocolate / milk chocolate. Lots, really lots of sweet wine notes. Almost like a liqueur. Delicate citrus notes shine through, as well as light spices. After a while, nuts and caramel follow.

What can I say? You won't find much more like strong and sweet sherry flavors. Those who like a lot of sherry and also clearly sweet aromas will get their money's worth here. You don't have the feeling that the whisky is 'perfumed', but the barrel was very wet? Objectively speaking, however, they are delicious flavors.

Sweet nuts, a lot of chocolate, raisins, plums, nice spicy notes, some chocolate cake, slightly spicy wood, dried fruits, light citrus notes. Maybe delicate creamy cherry notes? Pleasantly tart, followed by a light, sweet and dry herbal note.

Not as sweet as in the nose, more varied and a little bit more tangy. Nevertheless, sometimes you have the feeling that the whisky is still a bit young. But it fits.

Somewhat flat, a bit dry, slightly tart, a bit dry chocolate, delicate spices that have become moist, a bit of wet wood.
