Whisky Reviews for Tullibardine 2005 FegG

2 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 87.68 points

  1. BehindSpace scored this whisky 88 points Expert Senior

    heavy on sherry (obviously)
    but mild alcohol
    no sulphurous notes
    full maturation
    no off notes for me
    fairly priced (106€)

maybe a tad ' too easy' on everything and/or missing complexity

outstanding if you compare this one to other independant bottlers where the whisky ist younger, only a finish and more expensive.

rly nice to have one. no 'must' imho.
you need to like the full sherry punch obviously.

    Tasting Notes

Smell: Wintery with ripe plums, oranges and cloves, dark chocolate, aromatic oak.

Taste: Wonderfully harmonious, spicy notes with plums and oranges, chocolate with slightly bitter hints.

Finish: Long, balanced with fruits and spices, subliminal sweetness and dry oak notes in the finish.
