The first impression is fruity (apples, lemon) and fresh.
There are quite some grassy notes as well, maybe green tea and the smell of bread. Not really intensive but nothing unpleasant.
Light, clean, smooth and surprisingly fresh for the 26 years. Tea, apples and lemon again, decent oak ... and ginger, making it spicy. Not very complex in my opinion, but tasty. Coleburn does not really have a very good reputation with respect to the quality of its whiskies - but this is a good one.
Medium long, dry with tonic water and a wee bitterness.
