Considering price/quality this is always en entry level whisky to be considered if you ask me.
Fruity and creamy. Vanilla, toasted coconut, shortbread, tangerine, even a bit of pot still whisky-like floral elements such as orange blossom. Further: barley and honey.
As friendly as on the nose, but not as thick (probably because of the 40% ABV). The vanilla, coconut and toast remain dominant. Hence now there is some freshness of mint and lemon zest, next to the appealing taste of tangerine and orange.
Relatively short and fading into the fresher/mintier area, but still with the creamy and fruity characteristics.
