Whisky Reviews for Auchentoshan 12-year-old
8 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 79.15 points
- decent example of a lowland whisky, but the 10 year old provides better value.
- Not really into triple distilled whisky, I nevertheless approach this Auchentoshan 12 with fresh eyes.
Did it help?
Clear presence of oak with intense fruit aromas and subtle hints of spices, cinnamon and clove. In the background is the smell of warm creme brulee to recognize
A soft texture with a sweet taste of caramel, honey, lime, lemon and hints of tangerine and lime
A long, dry finish of ginger and nuts
- The most wonderful soft lowlander!
- Very interesting drop with its own character: for this price you can not say anything!
Wood fibers, clear furniture polish, sweet floral perfume, apple cores (almond flavor)
Flower meadow, marzipan
Licorice, clear wood, very discreet scrub, Molasse in a medium length finish
Has that fresh air, open fields, fragrant smell to it with hints of oak, pear drops and new rubber.
A nutty woody taste
A dry medium finish
