Although at 58.7% it is clearly in the high-proof range, it is not locked, but instead provides a rich selection of flavors that does justice to a single pot still Irish whiskey: ripe pineapple, mango and papaya, with a good pinch of spices in the form of Pepper, marjoram, cinnamon, coriander and cumin. Full and well balanced, with toasted aromas, dry wood and dark chocolate.

Strong and mouth-filling, spices first, the fruit just behind it. Pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon, coriander, curry powder and cumin, followed by a note of tropical fruit that is otherwise only found in older SPS. Some liquorice, white coffee and freshly roasted coffee beans.

He takes his time, lingers on the palate for a long time, the spices spread out as generously as camels on the Rose Monday procession in Cologne. Still the tropical fruits, above all mango, banana and papaya, milk chocolate, honey, and finally some dry wood.
