Igitor scored this whisky 93 points

The taste is demanding and complex and gives full throttle from the first second. The finish is very long.
What can I say; the whisky is great, but also very expensive ...

The nose starts with mint, leather and beetroot. Everything stocky with an old library and a touch of electronics (smell of electronic parts in the computer) and coffee. With a little time, clear sherry and fruit aromas come through. The sherry looks nutty (pistachio and cashew), even if sweetness flashes through here and there.
The fruits are difficult to differentiate because they are overlaid by a maggi scent. Forest berries, raisins and blackberries prevail most.
The sweetness differentiates itself over time and splits into caramel and tree sap. Rose oil and honey wax are added. Very nice trip!
At the end there are clear tannins, liquorice and Hartz. -
The mouth starts with a veritable firework of different impressions: cooked forest berries, molasses, dark chocolate, raisins and espresso.
Hardly alcoholic, nothing at all that could remind you of missing notes. The bitterness is only noticeable at the end (paired with leather squid and minimal mint). -
A long finale with liquorice and little bitterness considering the age. Very balanced!
