Royal Brackla popped on my radar with a very interesting v&m bottling and I noticed quite a Salty note with this whisky. So when the Whiskybroker offered this bottle it was clear to me that I have to buy this.
The color is what you'd expect from a bourbon cask with no further ado let's get it started.
It is a great whisky and a great price to performance ratio. Love!

Lovely speyside nose!
It starts out with vanilla, pears, apricots, Elderflower, fresh cut grass and has a slightly lingering oak note in the background which is really well integrated and call me nuts but I get a nice salty seaweed note in the back. To sum it up it is quite bourbony sweet. -
Very sweet again, is this an Irish whisky? Vanilla, maple Sirup dominate the mouth this is then followed up a light oak spicyness pears and very ripe apricots.
Damn this is smooth and I can keep it in my mouth forever without water and without burning. -
This is where it drops a wee bit off. Still impressive though. Lot of vanilla but quite dry and oaky, slightly bitter with honey Elderflower and there is the Salty note I had in the nose. Amazing.
