For me an archetypal Oloroso ripening that shows its age.
Glenrothes Muff meets nut, dark fruit and dry oak.
Musty. First of all musty. So real cellar muff.
Then there are herbs, a honey sweet, red wine gums ...
Very interwoven old flavors.
Roasted and salted almonds, raisins, leather & tobacco. Slight sulfur note.
Mild, beautifully lawful start.
Very oily mouthfeel with full sherry flavors.
Very dry and nutty.
Long, great finish.
Dry, nut, coffee, dried dark fruits
