Color
Burnt umber
Nose

Dates, sweetness, acidic lemon juice, fresh sawdust, nutmeg, cedarwood (humidor), acrylic paint, soft gingerbread, oloroso sherry, wood polish, cardamom, dark trecle, molasses.

Taste

Powerful, acidic, almonds, a mix of sweet and sour, candid sugar, tons of raisins, coffee, brine, dark chocolate, chili, liquirice, awesomeness.

Finish

Long and completely awesome.

Comments
Probably the best whisky I've ever drunk (so far), Glendronach has done it again. I've never been disappointed with a GD before, and this is no exception. Will develop somewhat with water.

Oilpaint, tobacco, fresh leather, sherry spices as cinnamon, cardamom, carnation and nutmeg. Also ginger bread, molasses and treacle.

Taste

Explosion of spices, sweet and sour at the same time, we have raisins, coffee, cocoa, warm banana and brown sugar. Mixed nuts as well.

Finish

The finish is long and lingering with cinnamon, chili, dark chocolate and table salt.

Comments

This might just be one of the best drams I have ever had.
