    Great choice! It is a lot of money but it is worth it.

      Butterscotch, light tabacco, caramel cake, fudge, blueberries, cinnamon, spicy cake (dutch: kruidkoek).

      Caramel, blueberries, light (gin)bitterness, soft wood, beef broth.
    • Finish

      Tamarind, beef broth, light ginger, juniper.

    It's been a while since I tried one of these, but if my organoleptic memory is correct, it reminds me of the series of Longmorn 1996 bottled by Van Wees.
    • Nose
      Rich, voluptuous sherry notes with a hint of yeast, but also bitter coffee notes and dried tobacco leaves, as well as a chalky note. A touch of menthol too, but also luscious fruits (plums, dates) and vibrant spices, mainly pepper. Finally some polished leather and aceto balsamico.
    • Taste
      Oily, syrupy and mouth-coating. Pretty earthy, with touches of strong espresso, cough syrup and some mild chili heat. Some touches of dark chocolate as well, with a whiff of thyme or oregano. Finally hints of tobacco and dried red fruits.
    • Finish
      Cloves, a touch of cinnamon and some orange zest. Long.

    A warm autumn or winter drink. It's minus 15 outside, and it warmed me up well.

      Plum jam that spilled out of the pan and burned on the fire. A little polish, sweet jam on the morning's toasted bread and butter. Sweet carbonated drink.

      Sweet, even a little cloying taste, such an old jam, with an expired shelf life. A little baby medical syrup. Some pink chewing gum.
    • Finish
      90 90
      Aftertaste of sweet candies and cotton candy, which are sold in amusement parks.

    The scent is associated with Dimple from the 70s ...
    Sun-dried figs and dates, wax furniture polish, leather, pipe tobacco and old wood, a drop of varnish ... Oldstyle nose! 23
