This bottle tells the story of a five day journey undertaken by Whisky Magazine editor Rob Allanson, archaeologist and photographer Ken Hamilton, and the BBC's Tom Morton. They collected samples from the most northerly, southerly, easterly, westerly and central distilleries in Scotland.
The trio rode motorcycles donated by Triumph and Royal Enfield. At the final stop - The Glenturret distillery, the trio met Master Blender John Ramsay to select the final malt for their blend.
The resulting whisky is a blend of malt whiskies from:
• Kilchoman - 5%
• Bladnoch - 30%
• Glen Garioch - 10%
• Highland Park - 30%
• Glenturret - 25%
