The smoke is clearly in the foreground here. With a little effort, you can find enough other aromas in the nose, but it becomes more monotonous on the palate. Add to that the sub-optimally integrated alcohol and it remains a mediocre and overpriced whisky for what is on offer. The listed sherry, port and Madeira influences are not visible in a relevant way for me.

Beginning with smoke, apple, herbs. Dust, iodine and smoked fish follow. The alcohol cools the nose. Mint and citrus for short can be found.

sweet beginning, intense smoke, slowly becoming a bit bitter, ash. The alcohol is quite aggressive.

Long finish and creamy covering the mouth. Spicy, smoky, bacon and a little oak.
