with water: with water, the raspberry fizzy powder effect is enhanced, the taste disintegrates relatively quickly

Conclusion: Anyone who likes "Ahoi" raspberry effervescent powder will love this thing. For me it is too unbalanced to inspire, the alcohol is poorly integrated, not really much fun
    • Nose
      83 83
Honey, fruity, a bit earthy, roasted oat flakes, coffee cream, Marc de Champagne cream, a few blackberries, strong alcohol, not perfectly integrated
    • Taste
      83 83
subtly oily in the beginning, honey sweetness, caramel, then comes the sparkling alcohol, some oak, light red fruits, raspberry powder
    • Finish
      82 82
medium short, also here still the red effervescent powder, honey sweetness, hardly any oak (clove)

Sweet, alcoholic spiciness, vanilla, honey, grapes, caramel
    • Taste
      83 83
Sweetness, vanilla, hot ginger, grapes, caramel, the alcohol is clearly noticeable
    • Finish
      83 83
The sweetness remains but becoming drier, oak, caramel, warming, medium-long

After some initial earthy- and vegetal-like notes, more sweetness and also some fruits. Powerful, not very complex but just good and pleasant.
    • Nose
      86 86
Fruity and sweet, with pretty much alcohol. Orange, a bit vegetal as well, some earthy notes. After these initial notes more sweetness arrives, candy-like, foam-blocks.
    • Taste
      86 86
Pretty strong, intense. More sweetness now, a bit candy-like. some honey and orange, and malty. Then a little sour note, and strawberry.
    • Finish
      85 85
Smoother now, and again candy-like sweetness, 'spekkies' or 'foam blocks'. Honey. Middle long. Strawberry comes in after some time. And more woodiness.
