Sherry bomb: Yes!
Worth the current price: No! (€129,95)
There isnt much of the original Bunna left, a fainth hint in the background of the taste can be found.
Yet a more then decent whisky.
Currently for sale for €129,95 which is at least €50,- to much imho.
Full on sherry notes. Quite a good sherry bomb, but neat it is quite difficult to get some of the characteristics of the Bunna here.
Yet you get nice sweet red fruits, some tobacco and a faint hint of laurel in the background.
Opens up more. Quite a considerable change. There are more savory notes here and even a 'dirty' off note, which suits the nose.
Full and rounded arrival. Quite a burst of red fruit, fresh forest berry mix and sweet sherry notes. Quite oily too.
With water: more of the original bunna comes in here. It turns a bit young and restless though. A bit more spicy and a bit fresh.
Long length. Again a burst of red berries and the sherry cask. Little more liquor and laurel here.
Fades away with a honeyed red berry note.
With water: Not much changes.
