  1. LiquidThoughts scored this whisky 89 points Connoisseur

Full of character, still a lot of OBF in the nose, a nice spectrum and sweetness of light fruits appear in the nose.
    • Nose
Lots of OBF, bacon, old book pages, oily leather, old chocolate, toffees, potatoes, some tobacco, apricot, peach, some malt and grasses
    • Taste
Initially the grasses and malt are clear, then nice peach, some lychee, green apple and pear, vanilla, herbal honey, almonds, toast, aged leather, nut chocolate
    • Finish
Malt, honey, green apple, pear chips, medium length, crisp

  2. Foamy scored this whisky 90 points Expert Junior

Young and ‘low’ on alcohol but full of pleasure and enjoyment.
I just adore the creamy smell of this whisky! A little touch of smoke and dirty grassy notes in the taste and finish just gives you that extra flavor and body on top of the sublime fruitiness. It’s dangerously easy drinkable.
Since I tasted this bottle I wanted to discover more about Royal Brackla, now I’m a fan.
This is the kind of whisky that feeds my passion for the golden liquor.
Who said whisky has to be old to be good? It completely blows me away at 12y of age.
