    • Nose
It doesn’t give much in the beginning as it’s quite restrained. And oddly enough I get fish oil at first. Some honey in the background. Milk chocolate. But after some time it starts to open up a bit. Then I get a floral note, which reminds me of potpourri. Oranges, followed by some spices, such as nutmeg and a hint of cinnamon. Toffee and red apples. It is getting fruitier the longer you let is stand, the oranges really are getting more to the surface. An oak note and tobacco leaves.
    • Taste
Honey and raisins. Oranges, followed by vanilla. Milk chocolate and caramel toffee. It’s slightly oaky. Then some spices, such as crushed black peppercorns, nutmeg and cinnamon.
    • Finish
Long, with some dried fruits. Honey and that same potpourri note as I got in the nose. Earl Grey tea. Black pepper and nutmeg.

Rather sympathetic and balanced on the palate.
But in the face, it is the disaster. However, I left time for ventilation ...
    • Nose
      83 83
Rather poorly integrated nose. We smell too much alcohol.
Big herbaceous puff. Fresh cut grass, hay, mint, eucalyptus. It is very green, with a lot of young wood.
Pepper, clove, solvent. Light citrus fruits and plum skin.
We really don't have much here.
    • Taste
      87 87
In the mouth, the sherry is a little more forward.
Leather, cloves, spices, pepper, shoe polish. Wood, light cigar.
      Red fruits, strawberry, blackcurrant, plum.
Brown sugar, honey, dust, grapeseed oil.
    • Finish
      87 87
Final on salted butter caramel, plum, wood, shoe polish and leather. Slight cinnamon, dust.

Fantastic, could get lost in this nose. Rich, complex, lots of moving parts. Strawberry, fig, dates, rich salted caramel sauce. Muskyness to the point of a high end perfume.
    • Taste
      88 88
This is where is disappoints, gentle sherry, almost refill in nature, but feels slightly diluted.
    • Finish
      86 86
Short - medium with dry red wine characteristics.

A strange mix of bourbon and sherry. Almost no fruit. It makes me think that it would be better of only sherry or only bourbon matured.
    • Nose
      87 87
Wood chips, sweet, light honey, saw dust, sugar cane, dark rum, hay, some grapes
    • Taste
      87 87
Sweet, light honey, saw dust, hay, vanilla, some oak
    • Finish
      85 85
Quite short, only slightly drying, a bit bitter. The honey-dipped saw dust disappears quite quickly in the back of the mouth.
