- Nice dram, balanced peat, smoke, fruit- and sweetness. Nose is the best part but overall very pleasant.
Rich nose, sweet smoke, subtle peat, fruity. Red fruits, prunes, grassy, hay. Pretty some alcohol. Berries. Honey, bonfire smoke, ash. Tobacco smoke.
Pretty powerful, licorice, pepper. Sweet smoke, some fruitiness again, grassy, honey. Also some sweet notes, chocolate.
Still pretty powerful, sweet peatsmoke, honey, ash. Middle long.
- Much more subtle then it’s 2007 Port Hh bother from CWCL
Sweet and peaty. Much more tropical fruit like pineapple and passionfruit. Also peatsmoke and charcoal. It’s rather simple and onesided but nevertheless good in what it does.
It a little restless on the palate. It gives creamcheese, white pepper and charred oak on the palate. Alcohol is not so well integrated in my opinion.
Fruity oaky and medium length. It remains gentle and stable.
Not very exciting. A rather standard caol ila expression in my opinion.
