Starts exactly where the other 2011 Peated Port (https://www.whiskybase.com/whiskies/whisky/96813/glen-moray-201) started and continues the cool aroma profile but brings even more maturity and some wood into play. Fantastic, even if without big corners - very balanced and pleasing.

Smoked malt, medium smoke, dark grapes, light tartaric acid, spiced coffee, some milk chocolate, alcohol is tingly in the nose, wood is still hardly present. After the first sip, a beautiful raspberry note joins it.
-
Fiery start - warm smoke and light alcohol, a lot of malt and oh no sweetness, dextrose, dried fruits and finally forest fruits, also some pepper and oak is now there, at first a bit heavy but the transition to the finish is brilliant.
-
The berry fruits are now dominant and determine the entire long finish, of course the smoke is omnipresent but pleasantly subtle. First comes the malt again, then chocolate with pepper and nicely spicy oak. But the raspberry quickly gains the upper hand.
