I really enjoy this Kilchoman. For 60 € you get a very fine Islay Ex-Bourbon Smoker.
On the nose you can find grilled bananas, white grapes, a good portion of herbs from Provence, banana ice cream, pancake batter and a strong marine and ashy smoke. Very salty, iodine, lime mussels, seaweed moss, barbecue, grilled vegetables, extinguished campfire and some leather. In the taste less herbs of Provence and more lovage and black pepper. In addition, the association of a grilled melon and dark earth. The smoke becomes tarry. The finish could perhaps be a bit longer, but that is complaining on a very high level.
