  1. St. Pauli scored this whisky 81 points Connoisseur

I tasted this as part of a CC series from the old days. I must say that this dram was a bit less to my liking than the others. It's a bit on the flat side, and has this perfumed side that is a love it or hate it thing.
    • Nose
At first nosing: middle of the road, really. It's moderately fresh on citrus, with some perfumed scent of flowers, sawdust, and a mix of chive and coriander. Develops towards a honeyed and vanilla style dram, with still some perfumed notes and a nose prickle. The fruit stays on the citric side: oranges.
    • Taste
Stays honeyed, develops a spicy character of pepper and cinnamon. Then I get some perfumed notes again, of flower and coriander.
    • Finish
Not too long, slightly drying on breakfast cereals, pepper and cinnamon.

Malty and smoky aroma, orange, lavender and pepper. Sweet and bitter taste, soap and blue cheese. Long floral end.
