    Blind tasting:
    Very very disappointing bottling!

Wonderful nose ..... lemon cake glaze with grapefruit ..... Promises a lot!

The malt tastes incredibly flat and watery. No taste depth or anything that could be fun

      Nothing, nothing, nothing.
      The flattest finish ever.
I prefer to drink my Romanian plum brandy !!!

fantastic nose for sure - the malt is not bad even a bit grassy but the expectation is much higher on such a price level - good malt imo but far away from justifying the price tag.

Again in the glass and much better than at the first tasting. I think the order in the first tasting (blind tasting) completely drowned the whisky and therefore looked much worse than it is.

    Nice part!

Lemon sorbet! Fruity, grassy notes, followed by warm barley.

      Unfortunately very flat!
Warm vodka and very little flavor.
It wants to disappear in your mouth!
The spiciness of the alcohol remains.

This is not an exit, it is gone immediately ...
I haven't had it like this before. One of the whiskys with the shortest finish ever

  10. dramspotter did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

SMWS Tasting Notes: The flattering aromas of jasmine, honeysuckle, sweet vanilla, lemon sherbet, grape juice and orange blossom as well as hot buttered scones with strawberry jam pleased us all. So did the palate; soft, silky, subtle like orchard blossom, juicy tropical fruits melding with zesty citrus and a hint of oaky spiciness; just like a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. With a tiny drop of water, kiwi vanilla cupcakes with a buttercream frosting as well as a dusting of fresh herbs developed in time. The taste was a real delight, old and venerable, but at the same time, sweet and juicy with a long, fascinating gooseberry like tartness in the finish.
