A rather pleasant sherried whisky. The sherriness is quite delicate and not overlapping the distillery character. Cask strength is a plus. Despite being NAS, this expression doesn’t feel young. So overall good sherried all-rounder at an affordable price.
Light, creamy, gently sherried (sultanas, dried apricots), with noticeable minerality in a form of wet chalk. Sweet oranges, red apples, burnt caramel notes, roasted hazelnuts, milk chocolate, leathery notes, some mint. With water more dried fruits, more caramel and cinnamon in addition.
Peppery, rather dry and oaky, berry mix, some nuttiness. With water gets sweeter, fruitier with sweet oranges, apricot jam, mocha.
