Aroma: open, fresh-crunchy, green apples, lemon wedges, charred wood, oil paint, diesel engine, burnt willow twigs, minerals.

Taste: lemonade, wood, lemon peel, light spices and spices, smoke, burntness, bitterness; watery.

Finish: medium length, zest, bitter herbs, smoked meats, ash.

Bottom line: the fragrance is interesting, just a young, not very stoned Isla, then sadness - watery, bitter, very simple. The finish is surprisingly not empty and saturated, but again these bitter herbs do not much correct the picture. A strange whisky, it seems to have some kind of individuality, but why is it needed if for the same money there is Isla, a cut above.

Tourbé = Peated, and smoke is indeed not stingy. Initially still delicate, the smoky note really turns up over time. But the Jobic is also very fruity, later also spicy, so that variety is guaranteed and it doesn't just come across as a smoker. Can absolutely be seen, delicious!

Delicate smoke on pieces of smoked tangerine, citrus juice, grapefruit and kiwi. Great combination of flavors to start with, it makes you want more. It remains fruity, the smoky note picks up a bit, after a while rosemary and tarragon appear and give the nose a pleasant spiciness.

At the beginning on the tongue with a very clear smoky note: I like it! Dried seaweed, citrus juice, grapefruit, green sprigs. There is still youth in it, but that in no way diminishes the taste experience. Rosemary, pepper, chilli flakes, some dark chocolate and coffee powder. After a while dry wood.

Medium length, the dryness of the palate continues. Citrus Juice, Pepper, Salt, Dried Seaweed.

Young, smokey with some herbs and herbal oils. Also some fruit and fruity bubblegum. Nice!

on fine peat, sea spray, salt and citrus; back of burnt hay watered
    Mouth :
sweetness, vanilla roundness, a little on vine peach, citrus again, the smoke fades a little, watery sensation, minty freshness in the distance,
on the same markers with French peat which is drunk and not chewed, on the citrus vanilla side, iodine is more present here and really makes me think of a woman's whisky as if women were more fragile than us at the perception level, but take it as a compliment! in short, simple peaty but good!

I am very surprised by this French peat proposal. Quite mild, but with character, the color is discouraging, because it is very pale piss, but the smell, taste and finish alone compensate for this loss.
I would compare this Armorik to Ardbeg in combination with Talisker. My ladies, they really appreciate this drink ... So another "woman's, peaty whisky"
I am very glad that the "blind" purchase was a hit ????????

sweet, peaty, smoky, yellow smoked cheese, smoked bacon, a pinch of salt combined with fresh lemon

quite long, tarry, slightly spicy, notes of bandages, and peat bogs, ending with dark chocolate

Salt, iodine, seaweed, peat, bitter grapes. The cask didn't leave a mark. A bit thin in the mouth and and flat in the taste, but enjoyable never the less.

    Update 29/11/2020
I find that the oxidation does it more harm than good. The peat has lost its luster. Everything remains a well-made product. I don't quite understand scores below 80 to tell the truth ...

First bottle opened this evening. 5cl in the glass. All drunk little by little. I am very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this whisky which scores a lot of points. Everything is there or almost. Beautiful dirty peat tinged with hay, charcoal smoke, iodine, salt, camphoric freshness, yellow fruit and the roundness given by the bourbon cask. I also find a nice chalky side to it. The finish is quite drying (as with charcoal) and leaves the lips salty as well as a certain vegetal freshness. Great success!
