    Color: White Wine

    Very good - an excellent choice by the Scots Whisky Forum.
    • Nose
      85 85
      Grainy, grassy and waxy with vanilla and sunflower oil. Slightly fruity with apples and melons.
    • Taste
      86 86
      Green melons, grassy and grainy at first mouthfeel. Bold, spicy, oaky and strong when swallowed. Some vanilla and apples as well.
    • Finish
      86 86
      Medium long, dry, remains pleasant and clean.
      Spicy, oaky and grainy.

    Now no revelation, rather too light on the nose but then in the mouth a nice ex-bourbon barrel whisky that sums up the 13 years. Nice.

      Takes a little and then remains rather subtle and light. More flowery, malty than fruity, with light citrus and apple notes, and honeydew melon.
    • Taste
      It looks nice in the mouth. Almost a little hot on its own, but sweet and malty, fruity.
    • Finish
      warm and tart, slightly astringent, almost a little smoky, but also flowery and light fruity.
