Dark sherry with a fresh herb and menthol note ... Young, wild, fruity, tart and minimally bitter, the color is reflected in the taste. Tastes good!

    22/22/22/22 (88P)
    • Nose
Wonderful dark amber shines out of my Premium Snifter, occasionally thick and oily "legs" adhere to the glass wall. Roasted aromas and a dark berry aroma rise, a hint of muff and mildew is minimal, caramelized sugar and candied cherries, dried raisins and dates end in ripe plums and blackberries. Old and dried wood tones are in the air, hints of vanilla and chocolate, maybe a few drops of espresso. The alcohol is harmoniously integrated, meadow herbs and a hint of mint are discreet ...
    • Taste
Dark, dried fruit aroma is carried warming through the palate, tart dark wood and a touch of furniture polish come into their own, mint and menthol, herbs and a few crumbs of old orange peel, in the background lies creamy vineyard peach and zest of unripe grapefruit. Sour cherries and sugar beets, slightly resinous with a pinch of "dark, deep fir forest", dark chocolate and espresso end in spicy wood.
    • Finish
The aftertaste starts voluminously with an intense menthol and peppermint aroma. Remnants of dark dark chocolate and wet coffee powder stick to the palate, the dark fruit aroma sticks to the tongue to keep you warm, hazelnuts and spicy wood emerge minimally. After a few minutes the aftertaste fades away creamy and leaves a smeary film on the tongue.

Fruity, plum cake, slightly alcoholic stinging on the nose that betrays youth
    • Taste

Like the nose, complemented by pleasant oak aromas that create a slight bitterness
    • Finish
      87 87
Getting drier and drier with long-lasting aromas of dried fruits and wood

    Tasted blind.

Smell: pleasantly balanced, consistently in harmony, no unpleasant side odors. Fruits, dates, wood

Taste: as well as the smell! Complex balanced just round .. a bit oily in my opinion. Somewhat reminiscent of the forest and Muff, but not derogatory!

Simply a round thing! Recommendation for a cigar, as the tastes complement each other!

In the aroma, youthfulness (fermentation) is disguised behind a sweet and aggressive sherry (did they just pour the bottle of sherry into a barrel?) You can feel the furniture varnish, morbidity (like cognac), and ... perhaps that's all.
Taste: all one to one, as in the aroma - gnawed on a sweet barrel
The finish is quite long with an oak bitterness
Crafty malt. In small sips ... I recommend it only for smoking cigars or pipes, because I don't mind ...
