Taste: Whatever it gets from wine (Madeira), I don't like. And the influence is great here. There is a smell of alcohol, brandy. The bourbon part is good - vanilla, caramel. As a whole nothing extra.
Finish: Sweet fruity finish, nothing extra spicy, nothing extra interesting.
Overall: I'm honestly disappointed, I like the distillery, but this is not enough. After all, the Deanston 12 core is great! There are unpleasant tones of fruit and alcohol and it is saved by the classic tones of bourbon. I'm really not interested in going back to this whisky. Sorry guys.
