Whisky Reviews for Tobermory 1972 Lb

3 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 77.71 points

  1. MaltMartin scored this whisky 66 points Connoisseur

A very unbalanced Tobermory. Not very enjoyable. Sad for normally such a good vintage year for this whisky.
    • Nose
Light and clean. A bit muffy. Grassy and malty. Some citrus fruit. A whiff of smoke.
    • Taste
Very soapy. Hairspray odours like walking in a not so fancy hairdress shop. Spiciness of white peppers and nutmeg.
    • Finish
Medium long. Sharpness, Chemical. A tad dirty.

  2. Erik Elixir scored this whisky 65 points Connoisseur

N: white pepper, a little smoky and white grapes
T: hairspray, perfume, soapy and some grains
what is this? such an `interesting` whisky with great variety in nose and taste
going to try this whisky again soon, tasted with Aby

  3. aby scored this whisky 67 points Expert Senior

nose: lightly peated, pepper, a bit moldy, some malt and citrus

    taste: strange, soapy/perfume, malt
