    91/100 (almost 92)

Edit: @whisky source: 930€ (+ shipping costs, because you don't even offer the shipping) after only one month, seriously? LOL! This is a great whisky but anyone can get 2 better bottles of 40yo Speyside whisky for this price...
    • Nose
Simplicity and efficiency in all their glory. A huge dose of oranges and mandarins enhanced by a tiny hint of vanilla and very light spices. Beyond this super fruity aspect, the little that remains is hardly noticeable but it is perfect as well. Simple but oh how fresh and pleasant.
    • Taste
It's soft and oily at will, you have the feeling that it delicately envelops the tongue and the palate. A sensation that I always particularly appreciate with a whisky. We find, inevitably I want to say (the opposite would be surprising and even a shame with such a nose), oranges and tangerines, ripe and sweet. We are once again entitled to great simplicity in terms of aromas, but what an incredible fruit juice! Delicately honeyed, especially at the end of the palate, very pleasant.
    • Finish
Medium to long trend. Always on oranges, a little tannin, just the right amount. Reminiscences of very good IPA whereas until then I had not really found this "exotic" touch.

The taste of the fruit is quite good, but as a finished product of 29 years, it feels a little simpler.

Sand sugar orange, sour lemon, pomegranate, banana, the sweet and sour fruit taste is particularly strong, mainly fresh and fresh, the fruit is not too ripe, just the right sweetness, embellished with a little cream and oak flavor; fruity Well, it makes me feel very fresh and comfortable.
    • Taste
      87 87
The entrance is a little watery and light, although it is still fruity, but it is obviously the concentration of juice mixed with water; pepper and spiciness are quite obvious, a little stimulating, and I think the body and flavor of the wine are balanced. , not too thick (but not too thin), this feeling is so, if he is not this whiskysponge, I will rate it a little higher. After all, it is a relatively well-known celebrity in the circle bringing the goods, I think it needs to perform a little better.
    • Finish
      87 87
The feeling of the final rhyme still continues the fruity taste, some sugar cane juice, lemon, citrus, without a bit of bitterness, and some cream and honey, not very strong, relatively gentle, not falling too fast, pass and above performance .

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about
    • Nose
Oranges, plenty of citrus and some honey. Gentle woods spice lingering, with time there's some vanilla coming in, might even say some raw vanilla root appearing.
    • Taste
Orange peel with an emphasis on the sour side. Oak coming through, but moving towards the bitter side (not quite there yet).
    • Finish
finish is soft, on the oak side with some age showing in the bitterness.

Since I've already had a bourbon-matured Dalmore from the early-'90s in my collection, I doubt I'll buy this. There's just other areas I'd rather spend the money for now (and would purchase the companion Jura before this, too). As a consequence, I'll probably never taste it.

That being said, this is such a hilarious concept and label. Bravo, Mr. MacRaild.
