    Another one of these mysterious Images by Malts of Scotlands. Almost all of them have been very much to my liking.

    This could very well be a Ben Nevis. Geographically and from the distillery character.

    Color: Bright Yellow

      Very fresh nose. Fresh cut grass, limes, vanilla, green apples, but also mineralic, and in the background salt.

      The nose is very interesting but you also get the feeling this is definitely not the oldest whisky.
    • Taste

      Vanilla, pineapples, citric, grassy, oaky, quite salty.
    • Finish
      87 87
      Very smooth and medium long, again vanilla and a light oak note dominate, these are followed by citrus fruits, ripe apricots, pineapples, followed by white pepper, minerals and salt.

    A good whisky with a high alcohol percentage, but very young.

      Youthful whisky, vanilla, honey, green apples, lime and grass. I don't like the smell of grass in whisky.

      Medium aftertaste, vanilla, citrus, pineapple, pepper and oak in the background.

    Give it some time, and this whisky will grow on you, at least it did to me. Getting more and more versatile and better in time. A variety of fruits, on a quite powerful base. Very pleasant dram.

      Very fruity and intense, quite some alcohol, orange, vegetal, lemon. Some floral notes as well. Some mineral notes as well. Alcohol gets stronger and stronger in time.

      Very powerful and intense, vegetal notes initially. Creamy, buttery, white chocolate, citrus. Later on more smooth and quite, more tropical fruits as well, and orange. Some floral and sweet notes as well.

      More smooth now, orange, peach, a lot of fruits. Pretty long finish.

    Great, fruity bourbon matured whisky, unfortunately with far too much heat, but otherwise a great affair

    Very fruity, apples and pears with a little hay. Balanced round and very pleasant mouthfeel.
    I like it !
