    ***
    ????: light brown
????: very sherry, very intense, very chocolatey, sweet, nothing alcoholic,
????: sweet, very sweet, very chocolatey, astringent, a bit spicy, quite coherent, already nicely arranged, quickly softens in the mouth but does not disappear, remains a sweet, slightly tingling chocolate,
    ????: sweet, moderately long,

Sooooo nice sweet dessert! Such a yummy! There is no need to look for complexity here. There is a very intense sweet sherry, lots of chocolate, power and everything is pretty nice already nicely arranged and coherent! And I will pour myself a little more! What! ????????????

You get what you expect, a malt that is well loaded with sherry, whereby the Tullibardine even comes through a bit, definitely not a bad buy for the price (57GBP)
    • Nose
A compote of red berries and dark fruits comes towards you, along with wet tobacco and spices, a fruit bar with red berries, chocolate and coffee, malt, cereals, slightly floral, with a little air then clear raisins, sweet, which is already quite a part Sherry loaded, some oak, after the first sip some lovage too
    • Taste
oily, almost sticky, raisins, oak, chocolate, also creamy, a little caramel, slightly floral, grassy, espresso, also here a little lovage, sweet at the start, then getting drier
    • Finish
Raisins, slightly nutty, also red berries, dry, sticky, quite woody, grapes, malt and a little cereal, has a hint of Bircher muesli

Nose: Opens immediately and then stays the same. Stings just a little. A lot of sherry. Also: wood dust, mango, ripe mirabelle plums, turkey stewed with plums, carrots and cranberries. New leather. The whisky is there too. In the background seafood.

Palate: I feel like I'm sucking on a wooden board. I like that in principle. But here the oak has a little too much bitterness and too little spice. This prevents an even higher rating. Then at some point the whisky will come. Then: pickled seafood, plums, mango, ripe mirabelle plums.

Luckily no penetrating sweetness like I usually know from Tullibardine. Instead, dark chocolate, roughly 85% cocoa. The stale malt mash, which I also know from Tullibardine, is more in the background here.

Overall more than good. No missing notes, zero sulfur.

Finish: Sherry, pickled seafood, cranberries, plums, only a little wood. Medium length, I actually thought it would be longer - after so much wood on the palate.
