sweet, fruity and smoky after smoked ham, wild strawberries, candied pineapple, curd cream and fresh sea air
    • Taste
      88 88
strong and mouth-filling like fresh oysters, mountain pine sauna infusion oil and a mix of fruits such as mango, ripe oranges, fresh figs and coconuts

very long, a heavy sweetness remains and at the very end the typical cowshed note comes through

Very complex tobermory! It feels like an intermediate product from the non-smoky Tobermory and Ledaig.

Maritime, salty in a beautiful interplay of sweetness and fruit. The smoke will surprise you with its character!

    Ausgabepreis August 2020: 90,00 GBP

"The initial aroma was just like wild strawberries soaked for months in peaty whisky. Add to this sweet fruitiness and smokiness, salted lemons on rye bread, smoked ham and a driftwood fire – tinctures for an odic force. This life force named after the Nordic god Odin was certainly set alight on the palate neat. A petrol explosion in the middle of a peat bog and a retsina, a Greek wine for the gods, fermented with fresh pine resin - described as ‘sappy and turpentine-like’ in the Epicurious Dictionary! With water, aromas of moss, humus and kelp were followed by marinated peat-smoked apples with mint."
