Lots of peat smoke, as close to a young Caol Ila nose as you can get. Brine, light lemon notes, campfire, seaweed, green apples, smoked vanilla, light acetone, a bit of honey, light medicinal notes, band-aids. Marshmallows and a bit of jellybeans show up after tasting.
Really dry, but also chewy and juicy. Alcohol bit is not too bad, it's warm, peppery, and it's surprisingly light on the palate. Large dose of smoke, lots of camphor, good peat smoke, very light ginger, some light toffee, green apples and ripe apples, a bit of barley and oak, but on the center of the tongue it's really weak. Second chew brings some butyl rubber, petroleum (or kerosene if you will), smoke and camphor increasing, while other flavours fade away. A bit of cooked carrot sweetness remaining. Sort of an odd mix here and not too balanced. Third chew is super dry, some fresh ginger, peppermint, smoke is even stronger and dominates everything, just a bit of very dry tobacco leaves.
Smoke all over. Smoking mermaid is here, but the kiss is not so sweet. Brine, smoke, tobacco leaves, a bit of ginger, light note of cooked carrot.
