- Very smoky ... Is subtly fruity by the addition of water, but remains strong smoky ... In time, he is actually creamier ... Smoke "Nideltäfeli" ...

Its hidden, pebbled beach looks West and North towards the islands of Eigg, Rum, Muck and Skye. Whispered tales of smuggling abound…
- No so often you get the chance to try a Talisker in the wild. Even when it is of the same good quality as the OB 10 yo, it is nevertheless worth the price premium as it shows a less peppery Talisker. Of course I tried it in a line up with other Taliskers. It's a fine dram. Recommended.
- N: very peated, briny - sardines (very salt), a bit young (new spirit) and citrus
T: salt, cranberries and blackberries and sun flower
F: marsh mellows, custard, smoked ham, briny and iron

A fresh and young nose with apples and pears. There is also a hint of oily new make.
Enters with a sweet taste slowly changing to mild peaty spices
Keeping the very mild nose and taste it has a surprisingly long finish with spices, peat followed by more spices
