I've tried a few Edradour that brought in either soap or mushroom notes. I don't like either of these, which is why I'm reluctant to work with this distillery.
I like this bottling pretty much.
Intense sherry, herbs, forest honey, leather, some spicy wood. The alcohol stings easily.
Overall somewhat one-dimensional, which was to be expected given the young age.
Full, sweet, powerful start. Heavy, dark, sweet sherry, forest honey, almost brandy and rum flavors. Then slightly dry and spicy.
Still creamy sherry, spicy notes, then a bit bitter coffee and liquorice. Fairly long finish.
